MGT-1104: Foundations of Business
Description: Introduces students to the free enterprise system and the various business functions, such as management, human resources, marketing, operations, accounting and finance, technology as well as to the different types of business such as manufacturing and service. Analyzes the various business functions to help improve understanding of career interests and opportunities, as well as to provide a basic understanding of how a company operates. Applies learning through a group project in which a micro-business is created and managed.
