Description: Examines the life and times of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic World, a new cosmopolitan multicultural world initiated by his conquests. Analyzes the rise of Mecedon, the accomplishments and powers of Alexander, and discusses the world forged after him through analysis of literary and non-literary primary sources.
