Description: Rotating-topics course in world novels, either translated into, or originally written in, English. Emphasis on critical reading of novels written from different historic, intellectual, and cultural contexts. Formal and aesthetic analysis to identify themes, traditions, and values that cross periods and national boundaries. May be repeated once with different topics.
