CEE-2814: Geomatics
Description: Introduction to data measurement issues in the civil and environmental engineering sub disciplines. Collection techniques, analysis, errors, statistical description and visualization. Spatial measurements such as leveling, distance and angles, mapping and topographic surveys, the Global Positioning System, LiDAR, terrain models, earthwork methods, construction surveying, coordinate systems, and Geographic Information Systems. Non-CEE students are exempt from the CEE 2834 corerequisite.
