Description: This graduate seminar covers the interdisciplinary scholarship aimed at explaining sex-based inequality and examines the gender ideologies that rationalize sex-based inequality. The seminar covers important classic texts in feminist theory, the intellectual and political roots of that theory, as well as contemporary texts and debates. Graduate standing required.
