Description: Neglected infectious diseases and their association with marginalized populations and factors including poverty, social and health inequities, water, sanitation and hygiene, and urbanization. Critical factors for emergence/re-emergence of infectious diseases in populations and regions, including geopolitical challenges, zoonotic and vector impacts. Evaluate studies and global responses to neglected and emerging infectious diseases to inform the development of One Health interventions. Pre: Graduate standing.
