Description: Overview of international veterinary activities. Understanding of the role of governmental agencies, inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations in international relations, development, relief work, conversation, disease control and prevention, and trade. Understanding of the legal authority of binational agreements and international treaties. Training in intercultural communications, negotiation and conflict resolution. Review of current global issues. Pre: third-year standing in the DVM curriculum.
