Description: Care and management of companion exotic species including rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders, and hedgehogs. Common clinical problems including major infectious and non-infectious diseases, nutritional problems and trauma. Diagnostic approaches, medical and surgical treatments, including anesthesia and vaccination protocols. Pre: 3rd year standing in the DVM program. Pass/Fail only.
