Description: Overview of important sociological and cultural theories that have shaped Science and Technology Studies (STS) throughout its emergence in the 20th century. Foundational approaches to studying science and technology from sociological and cultural perspectives. Theoretical and methodological issues addressed in the social study of contemporary science and technology found in STS and related humanities and social science disciplines.
