PSYC-6244: Multiculturalism in Clinical Psychology

Description: Overview of topics related to multiculturalism in the practice of clinical psychology. Exploration of issues related to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, class, disability, age, and the intersection of these identities. Development of cultural humility, including self-awareness, knowledge of diverse worldviews, and understanding of power and oppression. Acquisition of skills to provide clinical services with cultural humility. Emphasis on commitment to multiculturalism and social justice.
