Description: Introduction to government and politics of the United States, the Constitution, and various institutional designs and structures. Focus on political culture, interest groups, voting franchise, political parties, and elections. Roles and responsibilities of Congress, bureaucracy, Presidency, and federal courts; Discussion of selected current policy issues and implications of diversity of elected representatives.
