Description: 5025: Investigation and analysis of dynamics and determinants of disease in communities and populations. Philosophy, assessment, and application of public health science, ethics, study design, data analysis, and epidemiologic measures. 5026: Basic ideas, methods, and measures of epidemiology. Statistical knowledge and skills to analyze and interpret data from epidemiologic studies. Introduction to common statistical packages. Evaluation of scientific evidence from literature. Identify and minimize major potential sources of error in epidemiologic studies. Pre: Graduate standing for 5025.
