ME-5824: Algorithmic Human-Robot Interaction
Description: Formalizing interaction between robots and humans. Developing learning and control algorithms that enable robots to seamlessly and intelligently collaborate with humans. Mathematical approaches to human-robot interaction, learning from demonstration, Bayesian inference, intent detection, safe and optimal control, assistive autonomy, and user study design. Students review and present existing literature, conduct a research project. Pre: Graduate Standing.
