ME-5694: Advanced Design Project

Description: Teams solve complex engineering problems, typically originating for industry, with emphasis on new product development, using the engineering design process. Emphasis on project management, engineering economics, and professional skills in presentation of a proposed business plan and technical solution. Intended for students in the Virginia Tech - Technische Universitat Darmstadt dual Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree program. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits, but then in different fields of mechanical engineering. Variable credit of 1-6 hours
