MATH-2644: Mathematics Tutoring
Description: Introduction to professional, culturally respectful mathematics tutoring. Development of listening and questioning skills, assessment of students’ mathematical difficulties. Exploration of teaching and learning processes, effectively utilizing technology, and adjusting instruction to diversity in students’ mathematical reasoning. Concurrent mathematics tutoring experience required. May be repeated twice with different leadership expectations for a maximum of 3 credits.
