LAR-3264: People Community and Place

Description: Advanced course focusing on landscape/behavior interactions and implications for the design of outdoor environments at site and community scales for sustainable communities. Systems approach to engage various community design program elements, including social, land use, physical infrastructure, public space, movement, energy, and natural systems, in place-making strategies for diverse populations. Methods of community participation and engagement used in community-based design practices. Pre: Junior standing.
