ISE-4214: Lean Manufacturing
Description: Overview of Lean Manufacturing principles, theory, methods, and techniques in modern manufacturing enterprises. Lean philosophy and basic concepts, master production scheduling and production smoothing, assembly line sequencing, setup time reduction, U-shaped line balancing/operation, machine arrangement, kanban, autonomation, and value stream mapping. Investigation and discussion of lean manufacturing case studies. C- or better required in ISE 4204.
