Description: Introduction to the strategic use of information technology (IT) in todays hospitality and tourism organizations. Includes the most current and widely used information systems in operation, management, and e-business in hospitality and tourism as well as identification, discussion and debate of the ethical issues associated with these systems. Study of social media as a marketing tool for hospitality and tourism businesses. Examine impacts of IT on organizations and the industry as a whole. Pre: Sophomore standing.
