Description: Examination of major German-language cultural movements, works, and figures from the earliest times to the present. Interdisciplinary exploration of German-language literature, film, art, architecture, music, and theatre in the context of the history of the German-speaking world. Analysis of Germanic culture, values and beliefs, and politics in their European and international context. Taught in English.
