GEOS-5704: Geochemical Thermodynamics
Description: Fundamentals of chemical thermodynamics as applied to earth materials (solid, fluid and gaseous) over wide ranges of pressure and temperature. Derivation of thermodynamic functions from the three laws of thermodynamics. The phase rule, phase equilibria, and Schreinemakers analysis. Comparison of the behavior of real and ideal systems.
