Description: Laboratory course on Earths resources including their nature, importance, occurrence, extraction, and environmental, social, and political impacts of consumption. Earths resources include metal ores, non-metallic resources which includes surface and ground water and non-renewable (e.g., fossil fuels) and renewable energy (e.g., hydroelectric). Sustainability, water quality and quantity, climate change, and ocean acidification related to resource extraction and consumption.
