FL-5024: Area Studies Methods
Description: Introduction to recent theories and methods in history, foreign languages and literary studies, and geography with a focus on issues that have facilitated exchanges between the three disciplines. Practical aspects of Area Studies research are highlighted with particular reference to Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. The formulation of research problems using interdisciplinary approaches is given special attention. Graduate standing required.
