Description: Advanced study in critical reading and writing for diverse academic, professional, civic, and/or personal contexts, culminating in a course portfolio; applied practice with audience-specific texts in multiple genres, modes, and styles; advanced instruction in research strategies and writing processes for complex rhetorical environments; emphasis on the influence of social and cultural identities across writing contexts.
