Description: Foundations of professional and technical writing and its functions in workplace settings. Practice with problem solving and decision making, audience analysis, document design, usability, and inclusive and ethical documentation, individually and in teams. Practice writing workplace genres such as proposals, reports, and correspondence. Analyze how writing elements such as design, language choices, and diverse data sources affect a document’s usability for different audiences.
