CNST-5074: Construction Professional Competencies
Description: Development of non-technical professional competencies such as the ability to give and respond to feedback in diverse teams, build socio-political awareness, ask evaluative questions and analyze data/arguments in order to evaluate current and emerging trends in design, planning and execution of construction projects. Strategies for effective oral and written communication of a trends impact on society, cost, schedule, productivity or policy to diverse construction stakeholder groups including civic organizations, policy makers, clients and researchers. Analysis of ethical implications of trends on academic research and professional practice. Investigation of personal gaps in professional competencies and development of an improvement plan.
