Description: An in-depth exploration of advanced topics in biological systems engineering. Reading, discussion, summary and presentation of current research in the areas of biological systems engineering. Topics will vary by semester and may include Ecological Engineering for Urban Streams, Hydrometeorology and Water Management, Emerging Surface Water Contaminants of Human Health Concern, Biological Control Systems, Biosensors and Diagnostics, Advances in Engineering Biology, Biomaterials Engineering. May be repeated 3 times with different topics for a maximum of 12 credits. Pre: Graduate standing.
