Description: Topical seminar devoted to a significant problem in social, political, ethical and cultural thought. Integrates readings reflective of those four domains and is taught by an interdisciplinary team with research expertise in the particular problem addressed by the course. Via their substantive focus and advanced theory orientation, the seminar topics also offer comparative exposure to the ontologies and epistemologies embedded in disciplinary frameworks. Linked to a speaker series integrated with the course. May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credit hours. Graduate standing required.
