ART-2514: Drawing Concepts
Description: Exploration of drawing practices that reflect expansions in the discipline through examination of the work of contemporary artists and discussion of recent historical precedents. Examination of multiple viewpoints through readings and discussion investigating notions of identity, culture, and social reality. Development of personalized visual language and content through iterative drawing processes. Application of formal analysis and interpretive strategies through critique. Includes traditional and experimental techniques; representational, abstract, and nonobjective approaches to drawing.
