Description: Advanced architecture laboratory with specialized design options, off-campus domestic and study abroad opportunities, technical research, and professional internships. Role of design processes in shaping the built environment in response to multiple factors and across diverse contexts. Immersion in professional or specialized settings to contextualize the student's position in the discipline. Development of student-driven course of action for pursuing ongoing professional interests through engagements with, and contributions to, disciplinary research and discourse. Engagement of new territories of inquiry and representation in design work. Critical professional skills in documentation of technical and discursive dimensions of architectural works.
