AOE-5315: Naval Ship Design

Description: Capstone naval ship design concept exploration including the study and application of the system engineering process to the simultaneous development of naval ship requirements, selection of ship technologies, and definition of a baseline naval ship design. Hullform, machinery, ship synthesis and balance, metrics (including Overall Measure of Effectiveness, technology risk, and cost) and design optimization in the context of a naval ship design project.
